Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist, this new gran fondo offers you a choice of surfaces and distances for an unforgettable day starting out from Thonon-les-Bains (Haute-Savoie, France), in an idyllic lake-and-mountains setting.
In an idyllic setting between lake and mountains, the accessible courses are within the reach of all. I am looking forward to meeting you on May 18 and 19, 2024 for the 4th edition of which I will again be the sponsor. Good winter preparation!

Brands from the cycle industry will mix with local artisans, producers and entrepreneurs to welcome you in a lively exhibitors village on both days.
A region to explore
Thonon-les-Bains and its surrounding region joining the Geneva Lake and the mountains of the Alps, are gorgeous and rich in sites to visit. Why not come for the event, stay an extra a day or two and explore?
For the 4th year running, the town of Thonon is particularly proud to be hosting the "Thonon Cycling Race", a flagship event in the municipality's new sports policy, which focuses on the essential educational and human values of surpassing oneself, solidarity and inclusion.
This event, which brings together all cycling enthusiasts, is also an opportunity to discover or (re)discover the natural charms as well as the cultural and heritage riches of our beautiful region. In 2023, more than 2,000 participants took part, enjoying the variety of our routes and, above all, having a great time with friends and family under the patronage of World Champion Laurent JALABERT.
This race is the fruit of the unfailing commitment of cycling enthusiasts (amateurs and professionals) and volunteers alike. We're counting on your participation on May 18 and 19, so that together, we can bring this cyclo to life.
For the 3rd edition of the event, 2,000 cyclists discovered a picture-postcard setting and, for some, prepared for the Etape du Tour a few weeks later... The Organising Committee is delighted to see the event grow as a vehicle for promoting the local economy, sport and tourism. In the colours of the event, cyclists from 32 nations and 63 French départements were incredibly well represented.
Between Lake Geneva and the mountains, the festivities were punctuated by the presence of an iconic patron, Laurent Jalabert, who was fit and available, as well as an extraordinary endowment from our partners.
Thank you to all those involved: elected representatives, partners, volunteers and service providers, without whom nothing would be possible. We are delighted to be able to continue our mission of development in 2024 and to make the Thonon Cycling Race a wonderful vehicle for cohesion and communication.
